Built for TEKNOFEST alongside biomedical engineers, this model detects small-cell lung cancer from medical imaging and drafts a candidate treatment plan for clinicians to review.
The architecture pairs a convolutional backbone for detection with a hybrid rule-and-model layer that turns the findings into a structured treatment suggestion. The two teams worked in parallel so the medical logic and the model stayed aligned.
The project reached the TEKNOFEST finals — the model, the data pipeline, and the evaluation were all completed.
